Celebrating achievements: Third Place at the 2026 Hollard Hackathon

At CyberPro Consulting, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our consultants who continue to push the boundaries of innovation. Congratulations to Shepherd Dewa, one of our dedicated Senior Software Developers, and his team on securing 3rd Place at the recent Hollard Hackathon.

Shepherd has been part of the CyberPro family for the past 15+ years, consistently delivering high-quality software solutions and embracing new technologies. His latest achievement is another example of the technical excellence and innovation that our consultants bring to every project.

Building the Future with Agentic AI

The theme of this year’s Hackathon was Agentic AI and Agent Squads, challenging participants to rethink how artificial intelligence can transform software development.

Rather than relying on a single AI assistant, teams assigned distinct roles to multiple specialised AI agents working concurrently. Each agent was responsible for a specific stage within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), operating with a focused prompt and ownership of a defined output. The result was a cohesive set of artefacts working together, rather than a collection of isolated AI-generated content.

Each team was tasked with selecting a challenge that addressed a real-world business problem.

A Configuration-Driven Insurance Sales Platform

Shepherd’s team chose to develop a White-Label Dynamic Insurance Sales Front End, with a clear objective: build an insurance sales journey driven entirely by configuration rather than code.

The concept was simple but powerful: change the configuration, not the code.

Using AI agents, the team generated a fully branded, dynamic front end where fields, validations, product rules, and content were all derived from configuration files.

The solution evolved beyond the original objective into a comprehensive one-stop insurance sales platform. Sales consultants can now offer a wide range of insurance products from a single application, including:

  • Funeral Cover
  • Motor Insurance
  • Home Insurance
  • Pet Insurance
  • Hospital Cover
  • Gap Cover
  • And many more

Everything within the platform is configuration-driven, from customer journeys and branding to content, validations, pricing, rating, and weighting.

All product definitions are managed through JSON configuration files. To onboard a new insurance product, users simply upload a new JSON configuration file, allowing the platform to dynamically provision the product without requiring any code changes.

Bringing Agentic AI to Life

One of the highlights for the team was the opportunity to work with Agentic AI and Agent Squads from concept through to delivery.

The solution was built using Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, including:

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot
  • Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • GitHub Copilot

Working together, the team orchestrated multiple AI agents to design, develop, and deliver the solution on the Microsoft Azure technology stack, perfectly aligning with the Hackathon’s theme.

Key Components of the Solution

The platform consisted of several core components working together:

  • Blazor Front End: Dynamically renders user interface components.
  • Configuration & Rules API: Retrieves and interprets configuration data.
  • Azure Blob Storage: Securely stores brand and product configuration files using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • AI Agent Layer: Reads configuration files and translates them into user interface structures and business rules.
  • Dynamic UI Engine: Builds user interfaces and applies branding dynamically.
  • Rules Engine: Enforces product eligibility, pricing calculations, and validation logic.

Together, these components demonstrated how configuration-driven architecture, combined with Agentic AI, can dramatically reduce development effort while creating flexible, scalable business solutions.
